Students i action

This is what is might look like when my students are working on a project.

Here they are working on banners for a human race party. The customer wanted to banners that connected Finland and Africa, so my students came up with the idea to make one warm African themed and one colder Finnish themed banner. Besides working on a real project my students also got to work on there color mixing skills and team work.

    Hi Sara! Are you working often with projects for customers or mostly with school assignments?

      Our goal is to work 100 % with customer projects, but we often work together with other departments on "in house" projects. For example do we every year build a house (that is sold later on) and we do a lot of decorations for events that are arranged in school and styling of the school environment. What about you?

      Good to see the authentic learning projects. It can be more work, but I believe that it is also good for supporting learning.
