This is what is might look like when my students are working on a project.

Here they are working on banners for a human race party. The customer wanted to banners that connected Finland and Africa, so my students came up with the idea to make one warm African themed and one colder Finnish themed banner. Besides working on a real project my students also got to work on there color mixing skills and team work.

My name is Sara. 

I have a degree in furniture design, is an entrepreneur in interior and graphic design, a part time student and also working as a fulltime teacher at Optima in Jakobstad, Finland. 

Artesan - interiörsassistent is the department where I work everyday and my main subjects circle around culture, creativity, interior and product design. 

This blog project is a part of my studies to become a certified teacher and a part of our internship. I will do my internship at Yrkeshögskolan Novia, also in Jakobstad. I will teach a course in lighting design for a group of students studying to become Interior designers (Spatial Design, Bachelor's Degree in Design).

This are a cablewelder. It is an expensive equipment. I myself try to carry out this operation, and it took some practice to get it right.
